“Trapped in a bubble” is a report investigating the triggers of loneliness in the UK. Pleased to see that Men’s Sheds are considered a method of “restorative support” to help individuals reconnect with their community. Mark Bond will attend this conference organised NHS Wales for Men’s Sheds Cymru. Mark will be available to explain progress and answer questions from delegates. Hoping that members of the new Men’s Shed group in Swansea based at 208 High Street Swansea will attend and forge new contacts.
The men at Kidwelly have signed a lease for their building and are now ready to set about creating their workshop. More details of their activities on their Facebook page. The Men’s Shed are based at the Kidwelly Community Hub.
