Anna McMorrin visits The Den, Cardiff

Our South West Wales Development Officer Mark Bond had a great time visiting the wonderful group down at the Rhiwbina Shed last week. His visit coincided with Cardiff North MP Anna McMorrin’s first check-in at the shed. Anna was hugely impressed with what the guys have achieved so far and hopes to assist them in finding larger premises as they continue to grow in number. Cheers guys! See you again soon!

Pentrebane Zone Men’s Shed, Cardiff

Welcome to our newest Men’s Shed group which is part of the Pentrebane Zone project on Beechley Drive, Cardiff CF5 3SG.

Sam & Ronnie who can be contacted on 07877791209 are keen to welcome members to take part in the many possible activities from woodworking, gardening or even looking after the chickens.

Actual activities will depend on what members want to take on so why not make contact and see where you want to take this new Men’s Shed.

Job Advert – Regional Development Officer

The Men’s Sheds Cymru project team has advertised the role of Regional Development Officer. This is a full time post on a fixed term contract which will end on 31st December 2020.
This post is needed to help the team develop and support new Men’s Sheds in the Valleys and South East region of Wales. There are some 35 Men’s Sheds in Wales and the project team aims to help create a further 50 groups.
